A Night for Catholic Education: Boylan Catholic High School hosted THP's 13th annual Big Get Togather in Rockford, IL on Saturday, Sept. 6th.  THP President Deacon Patrick Moynihan presented a Louverturian Award to Fr. Jerome Koutnik of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Crystal Lake, IL for his unfailing enthusiasm for THP's mission.  Deacon Moynihan commented, "Nobody advocates for THP with more gusto than Fr. Koutnik."  Deacon Moynihan and Boylan teacher and THP supporter Jimmy Sartino spoke on the importance of Catholic education and THP's strategic plans to build a second LCS in Haiti's newest diocese.

Success: Louverture Cleary School is proud to announce that 100% of the Philo class passed the Baccalaureate II - Haiti's national exam for secondary school graduates.  The exceptional pass rate not only ualifies each member of the 2014 class to enter university, it has earned national recognition for LCS as one of Haiti's top secondary schools.  Congratulations also go out to LCS Rheto students, Dolph-Froid Payoute and Usnaelo Dorcelant who were named national laureates for their outstanding scores on the BAC I, taken by students entering their final year of LCS.

Greetings, Canandaigua! Haitian Project Board Member and recent visitor to LCS, Liz Gilges welcomed THP to her home in Canandaigua, NY this summer, founding a new community of Project supporters.  At an evening gathering hosted by the entire Gilges clan, Deacon Patrick Moynihan, President of THP, introduced the Project to more than sixty of their friends and family.  Deacon Moynihan also had the privilege of assisting and preaching at weekend Masses at St. Mary's Church in St. Benedict Parish in Canandaigua.  THP looks forward to manu more visits to the Rochester/Finger Lakes area.  The Gilges enthusiasm is an inspiration.
