Spreading the Good Word in the Big Apple: For the last year, Mikhaila Moynihan has served THP’s Development Office as our Associate Director of Development.  In addition to supporting THP’s grassroots development activities, Mikhaila was integral in implementing the use of Salesforce as a means of helping THP build and maintain closer relationships with our community. Mikhaila moved on to her new position in May and is spending a year interning with Archbishop Bernardito Auza (the former Apostolic Nuncio to Haiti) at the Permanent Observer’s Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations in New York City.

Two Decades of Service: On April 11th, local Rhode Island board members and members of the St. Bernard’s (RI) community came together for a local celebration of the Moynihans’ 20th year on mission.  The potluck gathering brought out a lot of old faces, as well as some new ones.  People showed up with food in hand, prepared to dance to the “Folk Rocking” music of the Ten Rod Ramblers and looking to thank the Moynihans for their family’s commitment to our mission over the last two decades.  RI Board Member, Pat Newell, and other organizers even secured an Apostolic Blessing for the Moynihans as part of the festivities.

Thank You Thomas: Thomas Pham has served THP’s Operations Office as the lead accountant and controller since he took the position four years ago. At the time, Thomas, a recent graduate of Providence College, was looking for a mission-minded alternative to the “big-four” accounting firm. THP benefited greatly from his training, hard work and, like any good accountant, attention to detail. “My time with THP has been a wonderful blessing,” Thomas said. “It has been a privilege to work with incredible people to carry out a great mission. I will miss the Project dearly and the experience is something that I will always cherish.”
