Fr. Carl Jean (LCS '02) poses the question, "How many of you have a mother?" during his homily on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at LCS. Fr. Carl spoke on Mary's role as Mother and her preservation from sin.
Students, staff, faculty and Volunteers gathered Monday in observance of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
The Louverture Cleary Spiritual Committee spent the last week in preparation for the Mass and in preparing the student body for the occasion. Principal Marjorie Mombrun (LCS '07) noted,
All-school Masses are a wonderful opportunity at LCS. They help the studentsto understand the Gospel and how to live as brothers and sisters. Also to recognize God blessing for their free education.
The celebration of the Immaculate Conception is necessary to give them more information about Mary as the Mother of God, and as our mother.
The LCS Spiritual Commitee participate in preparing for Mass by making a Sketch about Conception of Mary according to the history. By that students could have more information about Feast of Immaculate comception of Mary which they could increase their knowledge.
